I'm trying to help my dad sell an old beater chevy truck that's just taking up space in our yard. He's not sure he wants to sell it and may just scrap it if it's to much trouble....his biggest concern is that if he sells it, he's responsible for getting it to pass smog before he transfers ownership.....if it's registered as a non-op does it still need to pass smog to be sold? I'm not sure if that made sense, but hopefully someone will have an idea for me!
