Does any one know of a recent auto accident involving a CHP cruiser and an ambulance at the intersection of Watt Ave and Roseville Road, Sacramento, CA. The guy, who told me about it, says that the CHP cruiser burned to the ground.

Yup, saw the car today. Major left front end damage / vehicle caught on fire, but did not burn to the ground. Kinda toasted a bit of the engine compartment though. Kinda looks totaled and only had 4400 miles on it.

Any details of what had happened? How is the officer?

Officer busts an intersection while C/3, has a large bus as an obstruction to the traffic proceeding into the intersection (just happens to be an ambulance), and you know the rest. Officer is OK / pride is a little shot I suppose.
