I remember when the written was pass/fail. I just took my written about three weeks ago and I pass(thank God) and I received a score. Does any one know thegrading structure or what numbers classify as pass or fail. I mean I don't care if I was close to failing it, the point is I didn't, but I'm still curious. Thanks

Thats interesting. When I passed the written it just said that I had passed, nothing more, no score. I took the written back in June of 2005 so maybe things have changed.

i took the test on may 20th and i was under the impression that is was pass or fail. SFPD will waive the written test if you already took it and received a score of T-42 or higher.

the written is a pass/fail.

as of the january written, when i took mine, they now give you a score to give you an idea on how you did.

The test is still pass/fail. We now include the T-Score in your letter as many other agencies will accept that as proof you have met their requirement.
