Personally I don't see the reward in relation to the effort or the risk, but that's probably why I'm not in my garage sewing buttons on blue uniforms and cutting badges out of brass slugs. Impersonating the milkman would at least have the benefit of seeing scantily dressed women picking milk deliveries off the porch in the early morning
You know, it might be a better punishment to toss him in the front seat of the unit and make him go out on domestic calls for the rest of the shift. Several hours of being spit on, wrestling overweight beer swillers to the ground, being screamed at at close range, and just listening to the same old back talk all night might just spoil the whole trip for them.

Poor Alhambra! They are getting a bad rep with the phonies:

I can't think of anything worse, though, than getting caught impersonating an officer by a legitimate officer.

Oh, I can..
How about having that phony cop having his victim turn out to be a convict with a loaded weapon and a desire not to go back to jail again at any cost ...
If you're going to put on the badge, there are also certain risks....'Cept he won't have any training or backup, will he?

I am sure that moron was picking his victims. Going after women so he could feel important and in control.

That is good that the real officer went back and checked.
