Hello to all my chp forums friends.

I have enjoyed all of the the pictures of the California Highway Patrol cars, and would like to share some of the patrol cars my state uses.

I have found a good link that goes through the years of cars we have used, so zip up your parkas and stay warm on those snowmobiles and enjoy and let me know what you all think.

I grew up in MN and go back every two years or so to the Twin Cities. Would love to go on a ride-along when I do. I've been a Chippie for 13 years. I'll have to keep you in mind when I go back and see if you can hook me up with a ride-along.

Theres something about Police Tahoes that i love. Santa Monica PD has a handful, marked as Sergeant units - beautiful cars.

I also grew up in MN. Northwest suburbs of Minneapolis. I love the state. It was an option to go home and join the troopers but they weren't hiring and I couldn't convince my wife to live in the cold for the next thirty years. :noidea:

When and where abouts? I grew up primarily in Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center. Got family still in Golden Valley.
