Hello all,
Well I've been floating around the forum since I applied and have thoroughly enjoyed my time on here. But I figured it was tike to post something and what better then a little introduction.
My progress is in my sign so no need speaking to that.
I haven't been the Guy that has wanted to be in LE my whole life. In fact a salty came into my current job and after a few minutes speaking with him he suggested I apply. I did about two months of research and decided that the CHP was indeed for me.
What I've enjoyed the most to this date is the challenge of finding out where I exist advanced human and where I want to be.
Any questions or comment will be greatly appreciated and I look forward to possibly working with some of you in the future.

That's what I'm told. But I just do what I'm told. Makes it a lot easier.

Welcome! Good luck to you in the process. There is still a lot to be done on your part; but, the end result of success is well worth the dedication and sacrifice.

Hi all! Like Endgame, I've learned a lot on here and am in the process too though not moving as fast as him :hitwall:.
Every now and then, I'll do google 'CHP' to read anything and everything CHP-related. One thing I noticed is that there are more news coming from Northern Cali than Southern. I've been on two ride-along and it's very busy here! But like they said, "no news is good news".
Be safe all.

No "ELK" tattoos. And it is a long, stressful, and satisfying experience. My goal isn't to Justin get into the academy. It is to retire with a career I can be proud of.
I've been doing this job for 13 years now and probably love it more now than when I first started. Good luck. If you make it through the whole testing process and the Academy you'll find that this is a career that you will always be proud of. It's a noble profession in my estimation and you are doing the Lord's work. Nothing could be better. Oh, and did I mention that it is a kick in the pants?

Thanks Chad
I've always been one that enjoys a challenge and I expect nothing less from the CHP.
what has been a very unique and exciting experience is having my younger brother join me on the journey. He just had his QAP the same day as my CVSA. Very special to have that common thread.
My brother joined 4 years after I did. He went down to San Jose for a couple of years, then got his helicopter pilot's license. Now he's one of our helicopter pilots out of the Bay area. This job is slowly becoming a family affair.
Thanks Chad
