Listen to your instincts gentlemen.

Rest in Peace, Sir.

Sympathy to Lt. Schuhandler's family and Department, especially the Dispatcher who handled the radio traffic. A Dispatcher's worst nightmare.

I have found from in my 33+ years of public safety experience, that law enforcement, firefighters, and emergency medical workers all seem to have that "Little Voice" that warns them of something that is just not right. (I have worked ambulance, fire and police in all those years). I am not sure if they are born with it, or they develop it during their career. Some call it their "Gut Feeling" (in some cases that is a big feeling:lol:) or their "sixth sense", but whatever you call it, you should listen to it and follow it religiously.

99 times out of 100, that "little voice", "gut feeling", "sixth sense" is correct and it will save your butt...
