Looks like JACKASS 2 will be coming out in september according to boxofficemojo.com...I wonder if it will have all of the original people? I loved that show when it was on, now there is WILD BOYZ which I think is pretty damn funny as well.

Anybody watch these shows?

Nope...I think it's one of the stupidest things I've ever seen. The only thing I've ever found funny about that kind of stuff was watching two idiots crying and writhing in agony on the ground with blown-out backs after one jumped off the roof of a house with the other one across his shoulders. Their intense pain was absolutely hysterical to me, because they brought it entirely upon themselves by being such ass-hats. My only hope is that every of those idiots go sterile as a result of their moronic antics so they can't reproduce more brain-dead idiots that would do such stupid things.

One of my buddies told me about the scene in the original movie where the dude takes a dump in the display toilet in a store. I didn't think that was very funny, but I would have gotten a REALLY good laugh out of seeing somebody rip him off the toilet and beat him senseless with the nearest blunt object for being such a sick, disgusting cretin.

...as you can tell, I'm not much good at sugar-coating my opinions.

Overall, I do find them amusing because they are such idiots like you mentioned...but I do agree, some of their stuff goes way too far.

My favorite part of that video is somebody in the background saying "Man...I think they're really hurt."

Oops I just failed a psych exam somewhere.

I didn't want to start a new thread so I thought I'd post this here. I went to see the movie The Departed yesterday...man what a good movie. Great cops and mob stuff.

I LOOOOVE watching them hurt themselves. I will go to the movie and just laugh at them. I think that the gene pool is getting excessively shallow. In other words I totally agree with G-Man

Couldn't agree more. Just take a look at the people around you next time you're on the freeway - putting on their makeup, reading a newspaper over the steering wheel, talking on their cell phone and holding a cup of coffee, all while driving 75 mph in commute traffic. That right there is "Darwin's Law" in motion! Maybe we could do a new movie called "Jackass III - Freeway Edition"!!!

Yes! I was thinking the same thing during the previews. After watching it, was amazed that nobody did get seriously injured.

Ok 405...I'll help you. I went to The Departed the first day it came out. Very well acted and very complex. I think it will go down as a classic cops and gangsters movie.
You really have to pay attention and not go wandering out for bathroom breaks and extra butter for your popcorn or it would be hard to understand.

My fiance was home for the weekend and we went to see this also. I thought it was very good, but he fell asleep partway into it for about 15 min (not because he thought it was boring, but because he was exhausted-the academy is working his butt off) and was totally lost after that. retchp is right on when he said you have to pay close attention or you will have a hard time following it.
