so i went surfing a few days ago and parked right along PCH. as i'm getting out of the water and changing out of my wetsuit the CHP cruiser comes by and i watch as it approaches. i look at it reflexively or instinctively or something, but of course i don't pay attention to the other thing that i was doing. and of course at that moment the towel falls and i'm totally naked standing on the shoulder wathing the CHP car like a kid at a parade. the officer is one of the female officers in the station where i've been on a few ride alongs. i don't think she'd recognize me but she just drove by shaking her head. it's been that kind of week. and it's only monday.
