Hey 4CHP,
I have plenty of pics in action. I carry my digital in my saddle bag all the time and take pics of whatever I can when I can. It was great when on Motor break-in and all the places I went.

Speaking of CHP motors, they made quite a showing during last year's Mardi Gras in San Luis Obispo. It was quite a sight to see the ~20 of them take off from a stop light in pairs.
Most of these were taken during the initial Iraq war protest deployed in SF. There are soooooo
many demonstrations there its hard to remember. The nurse one was also in the city its was Nurses, Firefighters and
public employees protesting against the Arnold.

Tom how many years out of the academy before you can become a moto cop? How long was it for you? Also what station has the most moto cops? Thanks.
You can go to motor school after is break-in is completed in some offices. I went to motor school 2 years after my academy graduation. As far as the most motors its probably central la, however, I'm not sure.
Here in Contra Costa we are alloted 18 and we have 15 riding. As far as the Bay Area probably Oakland, SF and San Jose have the most.

Come to Hayward, We need riders that WANT to ride. Right now I'm Mary 2 out of 3. We have like 8 slots allotted but no one wants to ride. I started at Mary 5. Where are they all going??
Tom, your right about Central having the most. I know Santa Fe has 16 riders at this point too.

Is that group shot the Rio Vista Bridge??? If so that used to be the end of one of my old beats at the Sac/Solano Co Line. If not where is it taken?

am I close?
According to this thread, Tom will be gone for two weeks most likely away from these 'puter things (http://www.chpforums.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=178)
That is the eastern span of the Bay Bridge taken from Treasure Island from the radio box cover of a BMW motorcycle. Very similar cantilever design as the old carquinez and the rio vista bridge.
