CHP - Governor's Medal Of Valor

Hi,

I just have a small question regarding the Medal of Valor page on CHP's website: http://www.chp.ca.gov/html/medalofvalor.html

I enjoy reading it and I have been checking back to the above link over and over again and I still haven't seen any new entriees for a long time. I was just wondering, why don't they ever update that page with new entriees? Or is it because they fear the officers' safety by posing their picture/story on the web?

I believe they hold an awards ceremony annually, provided there are recipients. I know there have been some more recent than 2003, as I know a couple officers who received it recently. As to why no info on the web site, I doubt its anything more than having no one to update that page - at least that's my theory.
