good luck! i have mine this thursday, i'm nervous as hell to. well nervous about the rest of the process in general. scared i might of forgotten something and i'll remeber it ,making it look like i lied  just gotta keep my eyes on the prize....
Just do your best to remember everything. If you remember something you previously forgot, let your BI know (once you get into backgrounds). It is better for you to call the BI about something you think is important before he or she finds it on their own. They will go over that with you.
Good luck.
This is very true. I must have called my BI 10 times after my intial interview just to let him know things that may be important. I am sure some of them were completely minute and probablly not very useful, but I felt better after I told him, just in case.

Now that its done I feel like puking my guts out
Seriously I was pretty nervous but I think I was able to articulate to the panel why I am a good canadate.
Heres hoping for a high score here in 3-4 weeks!

what kind of questions do they ask anyway? i mean i know the basics ( the stuff they told us at pat) do they ask for the chain of command?

Good luck too all!!!

that is something that is not going to be discussed, per the QAP telling us not too. The best suggestion that i can give anybody is got too the Mock QAP and you will have a pretty good idea of what to expect

yeah i figured we couldn't talk about it... well i'm leaving the house at 530am to get there early enough to change and find the place. is that area good on parking ( can you tell me that ?! ) i'm one of those dorks who's picky about parking his "fancy" car. .. i would of gone to a mock interveiw if i knew they existed, unless there's one in the next few hours, not gonna work for me  . i haven't had a chance to schedule a ride along, i have monday and tuesday off next week, so i'm shooting for one then. anyway , good luck triad, i'm sure we'll both be fine. don't let my online personality fool you,i take this dead serious

well i don't know where you are having yours at, i am guessing that your are testing out of Inland (i am in Southern), but might i suggest that if you don't need to wake up that early then don't, get all the sleep that you can. I say check it out ahead of time (i don't know what day you have it on, is it tomm?) so you don't have to wake up that early to find it, BUT by all means it is better to be early then late

Triad, whats up man? I just had my QAP on the 26th. Central Dev too so I assume you were at the Fresno Uni. SD location. Mine went well, but I am concerned I dont have enough education/volunteer work to impress them.
You gotta let me know when you hear back from them. Who were your interviewers?

Yep I was at the Fresno Unified building.
I remember the names of the interviewers but I don't know if that is something I can disclose here.
How did you feel you did? I thought it went well, and I was able to articulate the points I needed to make.

I think the whole thing went GREAT. I was confident, too the point, no hesitations, mature answers.
I've met quite a few of you Bakersfield people already. A few at the PAT and so on. It will be interesting to see how this all pans out.
What did you say in your closing statement thing? Did you ask anything? Add anything?

I had a closing statement lined up - but I didn't want it to sound memorized.
They caught me a bit off step but the reasons/question was a bit personal to me, however I felt like the interview went well overall though.
Good luck in the process. Maybe I'll see you in the academy if we are lucky.

well mine went to shit. apparently i was TOO honest. i tried pot for the first and last time in 2004 and told them that. they disqualified me before they even started. they told me everything looked incredible and that i woudl of passed if we went thru with it (stopped the interveiw right after the opening statement) i wasn't gonna tell them, but i was nervous about the cvsa, and i am an honest person. plus they told me not to worry about that this whole time, and to just list it. so, cuz i was honest about something i did almost 2 years ago i f**ked my myself. at least they let me know off the bat. not to sound like a cry baby, i have no one to blame but myself, but i guess it's cool to have a coke head, drunk president, but not a cop who tried something for 2 minutes 2 years ago and has been a straight arrow before and after. oh well, guess it wasn't meant to be. i wouldn't give up, but they pretty much told me not to even try , didn't tell me if there is a time frame or not.....good luck to the rest of you. oh and to the bald guy that's in the national gaurd that left around 945, they liked you alot. stay safe ,peace
