I have a question to anyone who might know the answer. I am 35 and am taking the written soon. If I should pass the written, pass the physical, but score low in the QAP, can I retest? My concern is I will be 36 by that point. I really appreciate this forum and those who take the time to respond. Thank you to all in advance.

You must be under 36 to take the written. If the written test is scheduled for July 1 but you turn 36 on June 30 your not eligible. Sorry, but it sounds like the answer is "no". Study hard for the QAP, make sure you attend an applicant seminar, do whatever it takes to go on a ride-along and make darn sure everything is in order for your background.
Good Luck!!

Nope, snowdog is correct. You have one chance at the QAP. The good news is this is a great time to be in the hiring process.

Thanks guys. I wasn't sure. I knew there was an age cap, but I was reading it as long as the written portion was completed before the 36th birthday, should I mess up on another facet of the testing process, I could start again with the physical, QAP, etc...Thank you again
