Tickets to officers?

I just had a thought in my mind the other day about something we discussed in class; what happens if a CHP officer gets a speeding ticket off duty or a DUI? What happens to the officer? Does the ticket effect his job like getting cursed out by his captain?:think:

I assume since police are put up to the same standards as regular people (if not higher)that a DUI would effect their job, as it would most other peoples jobs.
