He also lost his wife to a car accident just two months before the shooting. I feel so sorry for him. Does anybody have the full news article to this?

Kirk's dad was a captain, I think retired central coast. I worked at the same office as Kirk when we were new, so be it, I was a year or some newer. I remember when he got on the motors and how proud he was. Someone said he went to another office and started to do investigations. I use to hear Kirk was always the shit magnet, would always get into stuff, in a good way. Sorry he lost his spouse, glad he's still here to tell us what happened. I remember his CMTO more, cause that guy is a character.
