Hey all I know this is totally of topic of anything on this website. But I was just recently hired at a new car dealership (decided I might give this line of work a shot. Im young and in college, why not try?) and I had to go through an extensive background check and fingerprinting. It almost felt like I was applying to be in LE! My question to those who know is, why the extensive check? I mean I understand the not having an extensive driving record, etc. because of the fact that you will be driving and dealing with these new cars on a daily basis. Thanks for your thoughts!

mitsubishi. It should be fun, although I am skeptical about the money part. They pay you min. wage or comission on whatever you sell, whichever amount is greater. So I guess this is kind of an experiment. They sales manager said that people RARELY get the min. wage, so hopefully this will bring in some money to pay for the rest of my college tuition!
