I believe what you have there is a cartoon drawing done by an officer out of San Diego depicting another motor cop bumper pacing a speeder on I-5. There is a note in the lower right corner. This type of thing was very common twenty years ago. Drawings of officers would show up on chalk boards. Most were humor based.:biggrin:

It hangs in a hallway at the City Attorney's Office Criminal Division where I volunteer. The writing on the bottom right's kinda difficult to read even up close.

Looks to me like the officer made a diagram of his pace and used it as part of his testimony in a traffic case and then made a presentation to the ADA who handled the matter.

The bottom is signed SD CHP 5954 (badge #?). Maybe someone can recall that officer.
