Well my BI called and my CVSA is scheduled for this Wednesday 2/19/06 at 0900. I will keep you all posted. Where is everyone else at in the process?

i had my medical exam last mond. and now i am just waiting to find out when to take the oral pshyc

Had my initial today...my BI said I won't be making the May academy but probably the September one. CVSA tomorrow.

I'm not sure I'd agree with that statement... In fact, as the hiring process goes, Psych DQ's are some of the lowest percentages.

good to hear that DW, my BI had also mentioned that lately a lot seem to be failing it though.


UPDATE: got the call today, and will be taking my oral psych. on mond.

That's what my BI said too, that about half of applicants that make it through backgrounds either get DQ'd by the Psych or don't pass Medical. :shock:

Had my first BI interview at my house on 4/12/06... Says that he is pushing for the May academy, but I guess we'll see. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I completed backgrounds today and my BI recommended me to continue in the process. :biggrin: Onto the physical I go.

Started BI and passed CVSA this week. There is the potential that I could make the may academy. They may push it back a week to June to get the 180 slots filled I heard.

However, that seems like a really quick BI process. I dont see it happening for me since I also have the medical and psych, but I turned up my running just in case.

Can an applicant be disqualified based on the results of the CVSA? What if an applicant tends to be really nervous during these types of exams? Good liars are those who pass with flying colors. How is the CVSA used to determine if an applicants qualifications? Thanks for any response!

My BI told me "The CVSA won't make you or break you. It's just another tool I use in the investigation. Just relax and you'll do fine."

As long as you have been open, honest and forthcoming throughout the process you'll be alright.

Class getting pushed back not going to happen.
