I have a Monaco which served somewhere in California. The plate has an 83 in it .I have the "buck #" but very little information on the car. It went onto a career as a "cult" car before being transformed back to it CHP heritage. I would like to find out some info if possible maybe Motor Transport or even better the assigned officer.

I can provide some further info in fact today it was the pick at American on Wheels Museum in Allentown Pa. It was in DC for Police Week and is always available to you west coasters if I'm there. I retired a few yrs back & thought I was done with cruisers. I guess not.

Thanks.

Send an email here:

webmaster@chp.ca.gov

Explain what you are looking for and ask that your request be forwarded to the Administrative Services Division - Fleet operations. Perhaps they will do some research for you and will be able to advise you what area the vehicle as assigned to with dates and appropriate data.

Or, you can write or call them at:

California Highway Patrol
PO Box 942898
Sacramento, California 94298-0001
Non-emergency: (916)657-7261

Fleet Operations states they have no info on the car. I have an IFN70 Request for information form from DMV can I send to them for some history. I know its probably only registered owner stuff. Thanks.
