 Is that the Cirque Du Soleil Police Department?
I'm sure that takes a high level of skill and a lot of training, but they question remains, "Why?"

In an age when many departments are laying people off left and right...
This department seems to have funds budgeted to some 'interesting' programs.

C'mon, T, I've seen you sporting the banana-hammock while doing a high-chair wheelie in the back lot!

Wow! I thought there was no one around when that happened. Must have been the high tech video surveillance system we have in place.

Apparently the CHP is not immune to this kind of thing...
Check out Rick Mattos's book, page 64.
I'm not gonna post the pictures (I figure I'll leave that for him to post if he wants), but you can view them on Amazon by searching for "Bunyon Brothers."

Better yet, buy the book. Well worth the money, it's full of history and great pictures.

Before we all make comments about what Philadelphia PD is doing in the above pictures don't forget the showboating that goes on during the EVOC demonstration at CHP Academy graduations. I think that the time, money and effort that Philadelphia put into that demonstration was well spent. Programs like that can go a long way for positive public relations.

That is an excellent point. I stand corrected.

While this may be true, of the two demonstrations you mentioned above, one seems something you're more likely to see at a circus. I'll let you figure out which I'm referring to.:noidea:
However, there's no arguing that it takes a lot of time and skill to perform either one of these demonstrations.
I also agree that now days the way most people perceive law enforcement, any positive public relations is a good thing.

Looks a bit funny, but I'm sure it takes a ton of skill to pull those stunts off!
