I need help. I keep trying to post a picture and I just get a blank box in the upper left corner. I must be a dumbass or something, because I can't get it to work. Help a brother out please.

Okay, let's see if I can help.

First thing you need to do is upload any pictures you want use to a service like www.imageshack.com (http://www.imageshack.com)

Then you copy the URL for the photo from image shack and you come here. You start your post and then you click on the little yellow mountain thing above and you paste the picture URL. Then it should show the picture in the post you are making.

Tried that using photobucket. Let me try using Image Shack and see what happens.

Yep, photo uploaded to image shack. hit the button on I/S that says "get code for forums". Highlight the displayed code and cntrl c. open my reply on the forum. click the "insert image" box. copy the code to the provided location. Hit enter and get a blank box in the upper left corner of the reply box, no picture.

Okay, after you uploaded the photograph you saw a line that says "direct link to image." Copy that link. Then, return to this forum and click "reply." Click the yellow post card icon above the text area and paste the link form imageshack in the open box. You are probably getting double "url" entries or dual "http://" entries and that will cause a problem to the link of your photo. Hope this helps..........

I don't see the line that says "direct link to image" in I/S. The options I see are "get code for forums", "...websites", "...email". Thanks for the assist. I'm outta here for the night. Hope I'm not overstepping but I think I can help. When you ctrl+c all that gibberish from "get code for forums" I think all you need to do is open a reply and do ctrl+v to paste it. No need to click on anything else.

Log onto the forum.

Open another web page and log onto Image shack so you can toggle between.

Open a third web page and go to the forum in the third page.

In the third page click reply to post.

Go to the Image shack page and click view picture to the picture that you want to attach/upload.

Try copying and pasting each URL to a blank word document until you find one that directs you to the web page photo.

Insert that URL into your post.

Having the forum open in two windows allows you to toggle between what was written by others so you can reply to responses accordingly.

If you get timed out, having two pages open allows you to log on with out losing your response.
