Second QAP?help

Definitely go to the mock QAP. It shows initiative on your part, as well as serious determination. I was so nervous during my QAP that I forgot to mention that I did participate in one when the board asked me what I have done to prepare myself. :shock:

I will be retesting in June. I understand I do not have to take the written test again. But I am getting very restless about my second QAP. What should I do to better prepare myself for the next time?

Depends on why you are taking you second QAP. I chose to retest in order to move my 90 to a 95 becaue at the time, 95s were all that were being taken. Because I had taken a mock QAP, I had essentially two interviews to work with on my "third" one. Personaly, I went in more confident, studied up a little on the areas I was weak on in the first, and made a point of saying how much I wanted to work for this great agency and how I made the point to come back to get my 95. I don't know if that really added anything to my score, but I got what I wanted and moved on in the process. If this is your second, then you should know what you need to improve on. Just be confident, and brush up on whatever they did not like in the first one (education, skill, knowledge, attitude, etc). Good luck.

I took mine in the Inland Div. I'm not sure if it is something that every office does, but at the time they were offering it.

i took the southern division mock QAP before my QAP also. they are usually held the sat. before the PAT

I received a letter today saying that I had passed the QAP and would be continuing in the hiring process, but it didn't show my QAP score. Does anyone know why I was not given my score in the letter?

When I received my notification that I passed my QAP I also received a letter that told me to send in my PHS. Did you get one of these?

You should get two letters... One with your score and the other with the conditional commitment to hire. Sounds like the commitment to hire came first.
