If any Chippys are going to making the trek East for the Saint Patrick's Day Parade in New York City, and the subsequent "Party on the Pier," please PM me if you'd like.

It would be an honor to meet some of you and raise a glass of Grape Nehi if you're coming out anyway.

I won't be out for Saint Patties, but maybe I'll hit you up next time I'm out there.

The offer still stands. Or, if you need some info (best places to see the parade, muster locations, etc.) by all means....

We welcome them all, Juan. CHP, LAPD, SFPD, [insert name here] Sheriff's Office, whoever. Would love to show any of them how the right coast lives. :biggrin:

There are a ton of outside agencies from literally all over the world who come and march in the parade and join us for the after-party. My only concern is LAPD cops, who may be looking for a goody-bag a la the Oscars. That we don't have. :lol:

OOOOO, I'd love to go to that parade! Went to a ticker tape parade on Fifth Avenue a LONG time ago, but this would be much more fun with the bands and pipes. Am only 1/16th Irish, but my niece married an Irishman and lives in London --does that count? Looked it up on the Web and it sounds like an outstanding event.
