There was an Stanislaus County Deputy that was life-flighted out of modesto following a MVA with a School Bus while en-route to an Active shooter in Oakdale. The force of the impact caused the cruiser to strike a telephone pole and pinned the officer in the unit. According to our cad's in our Ambulance, it took the Fire Department approx. 25 minutes to extricate the Deputy from the unit. There were no children aboard the bus

I did not hear the extent of the injuries, (Was semi-Conscious during extrication) and was listed Major injuries per the CHP CAD,nor do I know the current condition of the Officer.

For family and fellow co-workers of the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department, The Deputy will be in our prayers.

And the "bus" was a UPS truck. (http://www.modbee.com/breakingnews/story/622259.html) The UPS driver was unhurt. The officer is improving and should be released in a few days.
