Whew! I'm so jealous. This must be the stairway to heaven. What a fantastic sport!
Paragliding over the AV.. very cool indeed! what a rush that must be to travel so far in a day like that.

That was an incredible slide! I grew up in the AV/Frazier area and then moved to California City in order to have 'whenever I want' access to the amazing riding trails. That was really neat to see it all from that view; almost makes me miss the desert...almost
Thanks for posting

Looks like fun but also looked a little high on the effort and stress levels.
My wife and I had a hot air balloon business that we started up in Woodland, north of Davis. I worked afternoons and we did it early in the morning. It worked out pretty good for several years. Real nice place to fly with rowed ag fields, the Sacramento river, the cities of Woodland and Davis.
We promoted and went to south. We continued flying but not as much. I was with the owner of In and Out Burger(RIP) when he flew his In and Out Balloon for the first time in Perris, CA. Went to lots of events in California and Reno, NV. Never made it to Albuquerque. Sold the balloon about 10 years ago. It was a fun chapter in our lives.
