i just sent in the application and had a few questions. the schedule on the website says my first examine is may 20th. what does this exam consist of. i have heard it is just basicly a reading/writing skills test. ive been told as long as i am as smart as a 10th grader, it would be a breeze. im in college right now and will be graduating may 2007.

If your already in college, I would not sweat yourself about it. I walked out of there thinking, "that was it?". I found it rather easy as well. Just read the questions right and you'll do fine.

If I were you, I would still study. Yes it might seem easy, but then again you might want to take some precautionary measures anyway. Look at the study guide online, and maybe order the California State Traffic Officer Exam book online. I say this because I passed the College Writing Proficiency Exam, and I still have found mistakes I thought I would never make. :lol:

Walden Books, Barnes and Noble, any of those type of bookstores should have it.

If there is a Borders near you get it there. That is were i got mine.

Unless you are pressed for time, Amazon.com has a bunch of them for MUCH cheaper prices than Borders or Barnes and Noble.

Also, your local library should have some.

You can also try www.half.com I got mine there for WAY cheaper than anywhere else!

does it matter what year it is. i have seen 1996 and 1997. im in no rush. my test is may 20th. ill probalby get it from half.com since its like $15 cheaper.

i bought the book from half.com. $23 total. i just got my letter that my app was accepted!! woohoooo!
