View Full Version : iPhone
For those viewing the site on an iPhone, you can now revert to the "normal" verson. If you still get the iPhone version, you can use the link at the bottom of the page to go back to the normal page. A link will appear on the normal page to switch back to the iPhone.
(The iPhone style was previously forced and could not be overridden.)

Thank you dw. That was quite annoying sometimes. The iPhone version is hard to read.

Agreed, though I have been able to use the regular version again for the past 1 month +

Anyone able to post or reply to PM via Iphone using Iphone style?
I can't reply to a post without quoting. When I try to submit a post or PM it says
"vBulliten Message

If this occurred unexpectedly please inform the administrator and describ e the action you performed before you received this error."

Works fine on Iphone, but not in Iphone style mode
Works fine on Iphone, but not in Iphone style modeUnfortunately there is no support for the style, so I can't do much about it..... It's there if you want to view posts with it, I guess.

I have been switching back and forth between styles on the iPhone. So far it works really well, viewing posts and messages with the style on and sending messages with it turned off. I am just glad there is something, otherwise it would be impossible to view the discussions.

Viewing these posts makes me want to ask why there aren't more people labeled "Addicted Member"????:tape:

Someone help a semi computer illiterate old person out please. I just got an i phone 3G. So far I understand about 25 percent of what's on it or available (I think). I have been accessing the forums in both regular format and i phone's style. It works, but since my vision is not any longer 20/20 I have to keep expanding and unexpanding the text to scroll about and read.
Now for my main question, I can't find the "back" button so when I read a posted thread, I can back out and go to the next one. So I keep getting kicked off and having to repeatedly sign in to read a serries of posts in a thread.
If I could find a "back button location it would be helpful. On my PC it is right below 'CHP Forums' in the upper left hand corner. Not there on my i phone 3G in forums. Anyone?
its on the bottom left of the program, right above the only real button on the phone.
if you turn the phone sideways the page will be wider and have larger font too.

Thanks rs. Works much better now. I read your post last night and tried to answer from my i phone, but it didn't go through. I don't think I have quite worked out how to post from the phone yet, so this reply is from my PC. Anyway, thanks for the tip. It helped me a lot!

Can anyone by chance tell me why this USUALLY happens. Sometimes it works just great but more often once I get safari up on my i phone and access chp forums and log in and get "welcomed", I read a new or unread post and when I back button to read another, I get booted off the forums and have to log in again. Sometimes this happens ten times in a row, post by post and is very frustrating.
Am I doing something incorrectly or is it a signal strength problem here in the boonies or. . .??
