Another wannabe (like me) asked if flat feet would keep them out of the academy. Most of you said it wouldn't. I was wondering if there is a list of conditions that would get someone kicked out of the hiring process. Many of you said that as long as the person could perform the job and make it through the academy, there wouldn't be a problem. SO I was just wondering about other conditions, diseases, or factors that applicants could find out about before it became an issue.
Thanks. Be safe.

No worse than 20/40 vision uncorrected and no color blindness. I don't remember any physical automatic disqualifiers in the process besides these and what is tested for at the PAT.
My friend (who is now a school teacher in Fresno) got kicked out of the Navy because the two bones in his left forearm are fused together at a certain point. The Navy found out during Basic. He can't turn his hand "palms-up" with his left hand; he can only turn it about 90 degrees from "palms-down". Would something like that DQ him from the CHP?
