Just a THANK YOU to all of the Officers serving long hours helping those people forced out of their homes and businesses by the fires and for putting up with the many irritated and frustrated motorists who are out there. BE SAFE!!!

I live by Diamond Bar and CHP/LA County Sheriff has done a great job blocking the 57 Fwy and keeping traffic flowing to the 60 Fwy!
I also saw the DC10 drop flame retardant, hopefully they get a handle on it!

My thanks also. Unbelievable! My heart was sinking as I saw all those units out there on the incident pages. We had officers down there last year and I remember the stories about how residents completely refused to listen to reasoning about going in after when it still wasn't safe. The traffic situations must be horrendous. And a HUGE thank you to all the firefighters who are risking their lives and their health doing what they do best under horrific circumstances. The losses here are mind-boggling. Talked to our LT the other day who lost his home near Yosemite a few months ago. Said rebuilding is going well and hopes house is completed enough for move-in by Christmas.

That is good news to hear.
My thanks as well to those on the front lines in this horrible situation. Today, especially, is a good day to remember the sacrifices our officers, and firefighters, make each day.
