I got pulled over by an officer on foot the other night. I have a very loud exhuast on my car and at 2 am in the morning on a quite street it seems like I am driving fast. The office got in front of my car and shined his flash light in my eye. I stopped and he asked for my license and reg. I asked him why you stopped me?
He said, It "looked" like I was speeding? I asked him how fast was I going, he said, I would day about 40. I was driving in a 25 zone.
He wrote me a ticked for Reckless driving. and as a Misdemeanor.
3 weeks later I got a notice in the mail from him changing the charge to Ëxhibition of Speed".
Isn't that racing? I was not racing. I was the only car on the road. My tires were not screeching?
What should I do? I also have to go to criminal court for this which I don't understand?
Please help me. I am 38 years old and I am a good drive with no records.
