So as some of you know, I am currently working on a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. I had applied for some summer internships with various companies and on Friday I received a job offer from Amgen in Thousand Oaks. Looks like it'll be a summer in sunny Southern California. :cool:

Darth Choke, I know you are down in the area. Can you recommend any neat places (hiking, restraunts, all kinds) to check out while I'm down there?

I work in Westlake Village which is the next city over.

1. Camarillo Outlets
2. Camarillo Airport - Get flying lessons :smile:
3. Thousand Oaks - New center with Claim Jumper and PF Changs
4. Thousand Oaks and westlake - Shopping center with barnes
5. Of course the big mall on moorpark road
6. Cant forget in and out on ventu park road

Watch your speed on thousand oaks east of westlake.. there is a school there and LASO loves to hang out there to nab people.

In addition, southbound westlake n/o thousand oaks is a sorta blind curve.. usually has a traffic officer running radar.

I recommend Channel Islands Aviation for flying lessons in Camarillo. I got checked out in one of their rental planes a few months back, and their facilities, instructors and maintenance are top notch.
