Anyone know how to shrink an existing .jpg to meet the size requirements (I'm guessing 60' x 80' pixels) for the avatars? Thanks in advance.

It should be automatic Tom. Just browse your computer and select the picture. Mine isn't the actual size of the photo I'm using and I didn't do anything to it.

I finally figured out with the help and patience of DW how to post an Avatar on this site. For those who won't remember him mine is Crusader Rabbit who was a cartoon character from the early 1960's and has always been someone I tried to emulate as evidenced by his bio below which I copied off a website...
Inspired by the example of the great Knights of the Round Table, Crusader Rabbit steps forward to heroically help the oppressed citizenry of the world. Although he is small in stature and his character design is based on that of a child

Having ridden motors for awhile in a previous life...I can not confirm that those are CHP motors. However, I can confirm that motors have been known to accelerate rapidly causing sudden wheelie syndrome. I have no personal knowledge of this though!
