Hello every one, my name is Dan. I've been on this forum for the better part of this week. I have just taken the written exam this past weekend, and I am hoping that I survive the entire hiring process of the CHP. This is an awesome forum, you guys have answered a ton of questions that have been lingering in my mind since the day that I decided I wanted to pursue a career with the CHP. I do have one question that I could not find on any of the searches that I've done. How many academy classes does the CHP hold every year?

Depends on the rotation that on any given year. Usually 3 or 4. CTC I usually starts in January or April... if it is in January, there are 4, if it starts in April, there will be 3.
