I came across this website that I had never seen before and thought I would share. It contains news, photos, timelines, etc...it's basically an archive of September 11th.

May those who lost their lives rest in peace. God bless our country.

This day seven years ago is all to familiar to me. I was a freshman in high school while living in North East Pennsylvania. From second period on everyone watched the TVs, until the early dismissal. During first period the principle come over the loud speakers telling everyone two planes have crashed in new York City. Of course at that moment we had no idea as to the seriousness of the situation and quite frankly thought nothing of it. I will say that I am glad to have thought of keeping the newspaper from the morning of September 12 and then reading it today, most of the facts are mere speculation. Especially the estimated death toll which was reported as 30,000+. Thank god it wasn't. The front headline from September 11 2001 morning papers was the Texas mother drowning her kids.

I lived in New York at the time (only 40 minutes from the city), the things I saw the weeks following 9/11 I will never forget. Neither will I forget the relief of talking to my friends (and knowing they were well) who worked in the city and even a good friend who had the sense of running from the WTC as soon as he felt the building tremble.

God bless all of the families of those who lost their lives that miserable day.
