I read on another thread of QAP's being rescheduled, I turned in my PHS today (due Friday August 8th), is this rescheduling also effecting current applicants that are as far or farther along than I am? :noidea:

My PHS packet is due by 5pm on Aug. 11th to Inland Division headquarters.

I am going forward with the process unless I hear something differently from a Verified Chippie or someone from the CHU.

Makes no sense to DQ yourself based on speculation or hearsay.

I have my own guesses as to why some QAP interviews are being rescheduled or put on hold; however, I have been wrong before and will try not to throw fuel on the fire.

Good luck to all.

OK....this is information for ALL of those in the testing process...

Do what you have been instructed to do...nothing more and nothing less. Do not take any action based solely on what you have seen or heard here...verified chippie or not; if you are in the application process, you have been given instructions.....FOLLOW THOSE INSTRUCTIONS.

I have my own guesses as to why some QAP interviews are being rescheduled or put on hold, and I believe they don't have anything to do with the CHP, but possibly another state department. However, I have been wrong before and will try not to throw fuel on the fire.

Please do not speculate or give advice on the testing/hiring process.

There is a lot going on right now with the State...you will hear rumors and stories addressing almost any conceivable angle; unless you are personally contacted by a State representative, do not change or alter what you have been instructed to do!

Did I say "do what you have been instructed to do" yet?
