Hes actually a retired Captain, but thats hardly the issue. I've already called some friends with FSO. I guess the membership overwhelmingly endorsed him over the other candidates. What a slap in the face to the others which include the Asst Sheriff, a Captain, a Detective and a retired Lt. (all from the SO) I've told them when he changes their uniform to tan pants with a green stripe they will be looking almost as good as us. All they need to do now is get black and white patrol cars. What

AHHHHHHH....not tan uniforms! We already have to carry S&W's...dont make us wear all tan!

We had an Asst Sheriff, 2 Captains a Detective, and Minor running. The FPD Chief now is looking to run, but he wants to be the Chief of FPD..AND the Sheriff at the same time. He is waiting to hear from the AG to see if thats legal.
