I am from Sacramento as well. Hubby just entered the academy this month. For the wives whose husbands have already graduated, where did you guys get placed at?

I tell everyone down here in So. Cal that I'm from Sacramento (makes no sense trying to explain where exactly) does that count? We grew up just 40 mins north of Sacramento and we NEVER drove so much around Sacramento til he was a Cadet. I'll take my So. Cal living and hubby will have to drag me back up to Nor. Cal kicking and screaming if he so desires to put in a 220 that way. Anyhow, I think it is REALLY great to get connected to locals and current cadet s.o/spouses it makes the journey much more fun. My bff from week one of the academy starting was from Sacramento at the time so it was nice to meet up before Wed. liberty and hang out til our cadets got out.

I've lived in Sacramento for 50 something years now. I don't know what info you need about the area, but I probably have some of it.

I'm from Sac as well..I actually grew up in West Sac. My hubby is currently in CTC III-08.
