Housing in the Inland Empire

I am a CHP Officer and I just transferred to El Cajon. I will be renting out my house in Riverside starting August 1st. It is 3br/2.5ba, 1780 sq ft, on .38 acres. Rent will be $1800/mo. It is about 4 mi from the Riverside office off of Van Buren and Canyon Ridge. I understand 4 cadets out of the current academy class are going to Riverside and I know how hard it can be to deal with housing along with everything else. I wanted to post it here before anywhere else. If anyone knows the cadets who are going to Riverside or any other officer that might be interested please let me know.

I am not sure if it is still there, but in 2001 there was a binder near the staff office at the academy for graduating cadets that contained rental info that individuals had sent to the academy. It contained mostly homes and apartments owned by officers/retirees looking for renters. You might want to call the staff office and see if they still use it and you could fax them the rental info to put into the binder. Sorry, I don't have their 10-21.
