Academy CTC-III-08 Orientation

Has any one heard what the times and dates of the division orientations are going to be, if any. I'm wondering if there is going to be an orientation held in the valley division.

I think that the orientation is the day before the academy starts, which is July 20th. If that's the one your talking about.

I think sometimes they have orientations in the different divisions for those who can not make the Sacramento orientation. Maybe this is not the case, but I think I read that somewhere. Those are the dates/times I'm wondering, as my wife can not attend the orientation on the 20th.

Our area had an orientation meeting before the one in Sacramento that you are referring to. I would ask your BI about it and have her attend that one if there is one in your area. As a wife, I found it quite helpful at the time. Good luck in the academy!

Sorry, I meant Central Division, not Valley.

The Central Division had a local orientation the Thursday evening before the academy start date for my husband's class (CTC III-07). His BI told him about it. We did not go, but those who did got a lot of helpful advice and shared it with us. We did attend the Sunday morning orientation and it was extremely beneficial.
