The PAT in the Border Division was grueling. I passed everything but it took forever and I'm just glad a I got through the day. Good luck to everyone in the QAP's!!! I know I'm gonna need it!

It was super easy for my group. I had to do the bicycle test, so that tells you how I did with the trunk test. The grip meter thing fell out of my hand. hehe.
Besides that, I enjoyed myself. REALLY glad I shaved my head and face. I was about to get yelled at out for my tattoos, and as he started, he stopped and said "At least your hair is cut right." :) See you all manana for the Psych.

Do you shave your head or use clippers? I shave it, but I'm not really too sure whether I'd get yelled at because of it. What would be the safe bet - shaved or razored with no guard? Or am I just thinking too much? :)

Everyone learned their lesson pretty quickly with officer Sandoval:biggrin:. "This isn't celebrity fit club or the biggest loser." "If you come to the Academy overweight we will make sure you leave underweight!" "If your a skinny kind of fat, the kind that weighs 100 punds and can't do a pushup, we're gonna have fun with you." There was a PT instructor from the academy whose name I can't recall but he was pure rage. He was a tiny guy who just about chewed this kids head off... Don't bring a bad attitude. The psych today was different because we didn't have to complete the usual amount of paperwork. Office Rhodes a BI gave great information on the rest of the process. Good Luck all.

Ya I was bummed about the Psych today. I wonder why the Psych written didn't fall through. It was still a good experience. Filling out the Personal History statement was a wide opening experience seeing just how much they want to know about us. Hopefully we'll find out when we take the psych sooner then later. Goodluck to everyone in the QAP's

From what I understand, we aren't going to take the Pysch at all. But don't quote me on that.
If you don't want to be quoted, maybe you shouldn't speculate about things you don't know.
Procedures are changing for a reason. There's no reason to go into what changes are being made or why but rest assured that if you are successful you will complete the entire psychological testing process. All you need to worry about is your next phase and not what has happened in the past.
