Hello!

I recently purchased a "retired" CHP BMW R1150RTP motorcycle and I would really like to know what area the bike would have been used. I was hoping someone would know or be able to direct me to where I could find this information. The bike was number M8841. Any help is appreciated!

You can try calling Motor Transport Section in Sacramento -- if anyone has the information, it would be them.

Thank you! I will try that.

Motor Transport suggested I try Fleet Operations as they did not have hte info. So I contacted the Fleet Operations Divsion and they were able to look it up, it came from the Border Division, which is where I grew up!
