So, since no one else had posted random O/T stuff, time to break the ice.

Thought I would share a little insight. I got a pretty bad case of Posion Oak all over my left arm/Left hip/Chest and both legs inside the knees. Bad. I have been in pain since Tuesday. Spent over $60 in over the counter stuff, untill one of my customers told me about Zanfel($40- for one ounce tube). This stuff is the only stuff that needs to be bought when dealing with P/O or P/I. From the time that I applied it, less then two hours later, all the swelling and blisters had gone away..just redness now.

Another good tip for poison oak/poison ivy (or even that pesky mosquito bite that's driving you crazy) - this will curb the itching so you don't scratch yourself to death.....jump in the shower, turn the water as hot as you can stand it, and aim it right at the itchy spot. Hot water causes your body to release the histamines (which are what causes the itch). It feels waaaay better than scratching it, and the relief will last for several hours. Not a "fix", but at least it's temporary relief.

The thing with hot water is that it will open your pores. That then releases the poison oak oils and can cause it to spread further. Bad mojo, especially if it hits the nether regions. :shock:ops:

I've had great success using a product called Technu coupled with Calagel.

Another O/T. Are the CHP cars any different than other PD cars. How often do you get them upgraded? Also how often do you have to use those bump stops on the front? Thanks.
