CBS) BAGHDAD Saddam Hussein and three former officials in his regime told the court handling their trial Tuesday that they were on a hunger strike in protest of the judge overseeing the proceedings.

Saddam said he had not eaten in three days, while his former intelligence chief, Ibrahim Barzan, said he had been on the strike for two days. Two other defendants, Awad Bandar and former Vice President Taha Yassin Ramadan, also said they had started a hunger strike. .......... This has to be the funniest thing I've heard since they pulled him from the rat hole and he said he was "willing to negotiate"
