Did all your cadets make it home? Mine did, but we spent most of our time ironing uniforms and writing a memo

how was their first weekend? That is what i am most curious about is how the academy is. now how it used to be how it is currently.

I'm not sure about everyone else, but I know my cadet was extremely busy all weekend. There was so much he had to do to prepare for going back, and only one of those things was actually assigned. The rest of the things were just extra steps he wanted to take to be on top of his game.
I get the feeling he won't get the opportunity to relax for a few more weeks.

Try 27 weeks... Then break in, then probation.. It just keeps going, and going, and going..
I get the feeling he won't get the opportunity to relax for a few more weeks. My son just came off break in 6 weeks ago. He is finally feeling some relief, but can't relax yet as he is still on probation. He definitely is having more fun on the road than he did in the academy.
He won't get to relax during his time at the academy, although he will become used to the routine, which will help with stress.

My cadet was in great spirits and is very optimistic! He had a million stories to tell, in between washing, ironing, stenciling, shopping, reading, spelling tests, writing a memo, packing and then leaving!
However, my way of loving him is with Food...he didn't eat much, but after a week of not tasting food, he wasn't much interested. OH well! Maybe next weekend he will be more hungry! LOL! After he left I went to bed at 8:30! I was exhausted!
But he is doing good and he has learned a few valuable lessons including listen to your BI regarding training. 4 pull ups are easy when you have no fatigue....add twenty minutes of push ups and then do pulls ups!
