I just wanted to say thank you to all my classmates, family and friends that help me throughout my experience at the CHP academy. It truely was a long road and very rewarding. Standing there yesterday and getting my badge was an exprience that I will never forget. Now it time to get onto my next phase of training.

No - truthfully, you know you "officially" made it when you sign your final probationary performance appraisal at the end of the first year and it says that you've successfully completed your probationary period.

Congrats to MXRider and the rest of the class for making it through the Academy - welcome to the "other side!"

Why is it I have the feeling there is going to be a lot of :hitwall: in the next few months?

I will have to agree with you Mac. I feel we have three phases of training. First phase is the Academy, second phase is the FTO program and the third phase is the one year probation. Hopefully the second and third phases go pretty smoothly and I able to learn alot from my FTO's and other beat partners.

Why is it I have the feeling there is going to be a lot of :hitwall: in the next few months?

Hopefully we can keep the head banging down to a minimal.
Good luck USMC8541.

You can never stop learning. Everyone has different experiences and there is something to learn from everyone, whether you have 1 day on or 30 years on. Congratulations on your graduation and best of luck on break-in!
