Right up my alley. Think there is room in our budget to build one to compete?

Diplomat, the #2 police car of all time, right behind the 1969 Polara 440.

Nooooooooooooooooo. I was truly impressed with the heart stopping acceleration the Diplomat possessed, its outstanding cornering ability, and, the stop on a dime brakes they had. :tape:
One of the FINEST police cars I have ever driven!!!

Awesome!
I dig the Camaro in your avatar. I had a '67 Chevelle my dad and I built up. I sold it for a sandrail...

Straight line acceleration the Mustang had to have been tough to beat. Wish I was a Trooper then when Texas had the Mustang. I own a Mustang but being able to speed legally with a Mustang to catch violators had to be awesome.

They were fun, but things got interesting when you got into a pursuit on surface streets....having to drive, shift gears and talk on the radio all at the same time sometimes had you wishing for a third hand!
