In June of 2005, I took my Written, Physical, Psych, and QAP in Sacramento through the valley division. Upon receiving a passing score on my QAP I was offered a Conditional Commitment to Hire, which I signed and returned, within the required time. I sent my Com. to hire back to Valley division in September of 2005. And until today, I hadn't heard anything from a BI. But as alot of the officers on this forum have said, it's a hurry up and wait kind of deal. But today, almost 6 months later, I decided to call the Valley division to see if everything was in order. I started to sweat bullets when I heard the words "you're not in our system". Boy was I scared and confused all at once.
So, I proceeded to tell the officer that I live in Orange County, but I tested through the Valley Division. So he gave me the number for Backgrounds in Orange County, come to find out, my BI had called me about a month ago and left me a message. Out of all the messages I don't get, his is the one. But he was really cool about the entire situation, and scheduled my Initial Interview for next Thursday. :biggrin: .
So good thing I called to make sure everything was alright, because it wasn't at all. Anyways, thats about it. Thanks for reading.
