Written Tomorrow

Im going tomorrow for the written test in Riverside Ca. Im pretty nervous, i havn't taken a reading and writing test since i gradurated from high school in 2004 but i think i will be ok. *fingers crossed*

Relax, take your time, and hope for the best. test is pretty easy. I'm still dumbfounded at how many people don't pass the test

thanks man..i just got done taking a large reading test for my current employer so i think that will help a little bit..just have to breath and i will be ok lol

*humbled by bad spelling/grammer*I did my best today and only stumbled with a couple things. If I dont pass this time I plan on attending a seminar this month and trying again.

Don't give up. That is the worst thing you can do. keep trying. If you really want to make it you will. first time i took the written I got a 44.7 and it freaked me out. Second round of Written testing was with CHP and I got a 49.9, while my last round I got a 53.2. Don't over analyze everything.

At least you didn't give up. If I didn't pass it this time I'm going to keep studying and take it again.

If you really want to make it you will. first time i took the written I got a 44.7 and it freaked me out. I failed it once. I am guilty of that, but I know why I did. It was not due to my lack of knowledge, I rushed through it, and did not go over my answers. 2nd time i passed, and third time I passed.

I admit that I am guilty of my own hypocrisy.

You took the written test a second time (passed) and took it a third time? Correct me if I'm wrong but, if you pass the written test once then you are waived from taking it ever again right? So if you submitted another application then why did you take it a third time if you already passed it on a previous occasion? You should have received an automatic waiver to the written and sent a letter informing you of the PAT/Psych date. :noidea:

You are correct, I retook the written test for another department. I needed a T score of 50 to be eligible. The test I got with the CHP was 49.9, thus i had to retake it. I am going to be applying for another department as a back up to this.

What's up everybody? Just got back from taking the written on Saturday in Riverside as well! I didn't think it was too hard. The worst part was when the proctors were reading the directions, slowww down lady. Get the hint after enough people ask you "what was that?". I finished with about 45 mins left. On the way out I took 2 forms of the STD 678 and CHP 446F just in case. Ryan what room did you test in? I was in 110. Overall it was a great Spring break for me. I got to shoot for the first time; my brothers H&k at the range. It will be 6-8 business days and I can't bare to wait.

If you were in my room they moved the entire 4th row to the bottom. I had to sit right in front of the white board on some raggity table:evil:.
