Psych

I had my psych interview yesterday, and I am feeling pretty good about it. I guess now I just wait for the letter or phone call from SPB as to if I got into CTC-II-08. I have my fingers, and everything else crossed.

I also had my psych eval this week. I feel pretty good about it, but I will feel 100% better if I recieve an invite to CTC-II-08.:biggrin: I have a question for an officer. Do the invites to the academy get mailed in bulk, or does the CHP mail them individually when the state board approves the applicant?

I had my first psych interview in mid September. The next class started October 15; I thought for sure I was a shoe-in. No letter, no phone call. No big deal, I thought, the next class is Jan 7, I'll make that one. About three weeks before the seventh, still eagerly anticipating a letter in the box or a message on the machine, I still haven't heard a word. I called my BI who gave me a number for the cadet hiring unit. I called her, got tranferred, got transferred again and the told that I would recieve a phone call later from the CHU. I was told that I would have to come in for another psych interview on the seventh of January. This interviewer told me to wait three to four weeks for a response. Six weeks later I called my BI, then the CHU. I hadn't heard anything because they haven't sent out letters of acceptance yet. Hopefully yours happens quicker than mine, but don't hold your breath. Be patient.
