If the process is any indication...academy is going to be awsome, it makes you be tougher on yourself, you must expect the best, to be the best. Wonderful video.

I liked the longer version of this video that was pulled off the internet. It was the most motivating video I've ever watched. Too bad the full version can't be made available again.

I agree, quaylie. The full version is awesome! I was surprised and excited when I saw this video being discussed on this forum. My friend made the video. He was equally enthused.

Off-topic... This is my first post on these forums. I've been lurking for about 2 years now and I finally registered so I can start making posts. Great place with tons of info!

Yeah I think it could be used as a great recruitment tool, or at seminars so people can see what the academy is really like.

I'll ask my friend if he could make you a copy... Though I think his computer with the original files is down. If that's the case, I have the full video on DVD. I can burn you a copy if you'd like.

you do realize that the video wasn't pulled from the internet "just because," right? i'd think twice about sending copies to random strangers, were i you.

I'll ask my friend if he could make you a copy... Though I think his computer with the original files is down. If that's the case, I have the full video on DVD. I can burn you a copy if you'd like.

Bora, if your friend made the video and can confirm that duplication won't break any rules, I think there are many users on this forum that would like to watch it.

That video was from my academy class. It really doesn't portray what the academy was like. It's a snapshot from three or four days where we had specified training. That, and it is chock full way too much with the dude's brother, who was also in the class.

Yup, I know why that video was pulled. Rather not go through all that again... I wont be sending out copies.

It was such a well done video that I assumed that the CHP had been behind the making of it. I was actually introduced to the video by a CHP officer and those of us that got to see it were lucky. I'm sure there was a good reason for pulling it and I have heard a reason why it was pulled but I don't believe it's my business to discuss. :cool:
